ChooseAPrivateSchool.com ("we") is operated by Thin Air Studios LLC. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Searches and filters you enter, such as a town or ZIP code, to show you results.
• Your location, only if you choose "Use my location". Your browser asks your permission first. Your approximate position is sent with that one search to find nearby schools; we don't store it.
• Saved schools and comparisons, kept in your own browser so the site remembers them. We don't receive them. You can remove them any time by clearing the site's data in your browser.
• Maps. A school's map comes from Google Maps and loads when you scroll to it (if you chose "No thanks" on our cookie notice, only when you press "Show map"); Google then receives that request as described in its own privacy policy.
• Messages you send with the contact form: your email address and message. We use them only to answer you and fix the site.
• Basic technical information that every website receives, such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes to deliver and protect the site.

• Analytics, only if you agree. If you choose "Accept" on our cookie notice, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help people, using cookies. If you choose "No thanks", it never loads. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie choices" at the bottom of every page. We never use advertising cookies.

We don't require an account and we don't show ads.

How we share information

We don't sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site (such as hosting), when the law requires it, or as part of a business transfer.

Children

The site is meant for parents and other adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
